Nigel Peter Sammy is a Microsoft Data Platform Most Valuable Professional (MVP) with over 15 years of technical experience which includes 12 years of database and SQL Server experience. Nigel previously worked as a Lecturer for the MCSA and MCSE SQL Server 2012/2014 programs as well as Database courses in various BSc and MSc programs. During his time at Microsoft, he was an Account Technology Strategist where he was responsible for providing pre-sales technical/architectural support for Commercial and Public Sector customers. He was also responsible for delivering technical presentations and proof of concepts using SQL Server, Azure and Power BI. He is a co-author of Microsoft’s SQL Server 2012 Upgrade Technical Guide and a technical editor of Wrox’s Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016 Reporting Services books. For the last 9 years he has been presenting for conferences locally and internationally.
